On Saturday, March 31, Valencia College’s Alumni Association will hold its annual 5K race to raise money for scholarships, this time to support criminal justice, firefighter and EMS students. Registration begins at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. race start on Valencia’s West Campus located at 1800 S. Kirkman Road near MetroWest. Everyone is invited to participate—runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes and children. Awards will be given to those who place in their division.

Early registration by March 24 is $20 for Valencia alumni, $15 for Valencia students and $25 for all others. Registration on the day of the race is $30 (cash or check only). All racers will receive a commemorative 5K T-shirt. For details and to register online, visit valenciacollege.edu/alumni.

A free Kids’ Fun Run for children ages 9 and under will immediately follow the 5K, along with crafts and other fun activities.
