Students who will soon graduate at Valencia’s May 7 commencement ceremony are raising money to help those who will follow in their footsteps.
All proceeds from the student-led text-to-give campaign will be used to endow the Valencia Student Government Association Scholarship to help financially needy students.
By texting the words “VALENCIA” TO 20222, you can make a $10 donation to the scholarship fund. The mobile giving campaign will last until May 15.
Scholarships make a tremendous difference in giving students the ability to attend college. And the need is greater than ever, with 57 percent of Valencia students now receiving some form of financial aid.

A one-time donation of $10.00 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance following the account holder’s authorization.
