Valencia College’s dance department will present its annual Choreographers’ Showcase on Nov. 18 and 19 at 8 p.m.
The Choreographers Showcase has become a fall semester staple at Valencia and is now in its 13th year. Designed to showcase student choreography, the showcase will be held in Valencia’s Performing Arts Center on the East Campus.
These performances provide students with a creative outlet to show off their work, and demonstrate a variety of dance genres. Performing alongside Valencia dancers will be students from the University of Florida’s Ensemble One, a group of freshman dance majors.
General admission tickets are $10. Tickets for seniors and Valencia faculty, staff or students are $8. Tickets can be purchased online at www.valenciacollege.edu/arts.
Use the code “VALENCIAWEB” for a $2 discount on each ticket. The discount is for online purchases only.
Because of a special promotion, Valencia students can buy tickets for $5 – either online or at the box office. When purchasing online, students must use the code “DANCEFORFIVE” to receive a $5 ticket. At the box office window, just mention the “DANCEFORFIVE” promotion.
