Faculty Leadership, Computer Programming Instruction, Information Technology Instruction

Dr. Lisa Macon is a professor of Computer Programming and Information Technology at the West Campus, where she also serves as the program chair for Information Technology.  She is the current Faculty Association President (2010 – 2011) and also serves as college-wide advisor for Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year colleges.

Her project areas of interest include online teaching and learning, virtual worlds for education, game and application development for mobile devices, and the promotion of STEM careers as a suitable choice for young women.
