Support and Events for Students in Wake of Pulse Shootings

Monday, June 13, 2016

Just as Orlando is grieving, so too is our Valencia family, which has been impacted by the horrific shootings at the Pulse nightclub.

To help students through this painful tragedy, we are offering counseling services at every campus. Free counseling is available in Student Services at each campus, as well as 24 hour assistance via BayCare at (800) 878-5470. In addition to BayCare counselors, who are on site to help, many Valencia professors and staffers are licensed mental health counselors and are prepared to help students cope with their feelings.

Below are some of the services available for students this week.
