In celebration of Black History Month, Valencia College’s Jazz and Symphonic Bands will perform their first concert of the new year on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Performing Arts Center.
Listeners will hear some of music’s most significant African American composers highlighted throughout the night, including William Grant Still, Scott Joplin and Duke Ellington, amongst others. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and admission is free.
The Performing Arts Center is located on Valencia College’s East Campus at 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, FL.
