Valencia Presents Faculty Fine Art Exhibition

The Anita S. Wooten Gallery at Valencia College will host the 2020 Selected Fine Arts Faculty Exhibition, starting Oct. 29 and running through Dec. 11.

The exhibition will be completely virtual and free for the public, featuring the works of members of the college’s art department faculty. The artwork represents a wide range of media, including photography, ceramics, paintings and mixed media.

Participating artists include: Allan Maxwell, Camillo Velasquez, KYLE, and Richard Munster.

“All of this is about forcing us not only to see an image or an object, but to see the world,” said Carlye Frank, gallery curator for Anita S. Wooten Gallery. “[It is] to be aware of ourselves as we look, and to question not only what we see, but the way we see it.”

The faculty exhibition has been held annually since 1975. For more information, visit https://valenciacollege.edu/academics/programs/arts-entertainment/anitaswooten-gallery/or call 407-582-2298 or 407-582-2268.
