Following an extensive review, an internal auditor has found that Valencia College’s process for awarding construction contracts is fair and doesn’t favor firms with ties to the college’s foundation.
The audit, which was requested by Valencia’s board of trustees after a former trustee raised questions about the process, was presented at the trustees’ monthly public meeting on Oct. 16.
