TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— On Monday, Jan. 26, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Sean Milligan, Frederick “Rick” Pullum, and Dan Sherfield, and the reappointment of John Davis and Michael A. Sasso to the Valencia College District Board of Trustees.
Sean Milligan
Milligan is the president of Gatlin Mill. Previously, he served as vice president of GWSI, Inc., the Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations for GXO Logistics, Inc., and the Director of Supply Chain Solutions for Hillebrand. Milligan earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and global logistics from the College of Charleston.
Frederick “Rick” Pullum
Pullum is president and chief executive officer of One Florida Bank. Active in his community, he is a member of the Central Florida Expressway Authority and the iDignity Board of Directors and previously served as a member of the Orange County Tourist Development Council. Pullum earned his bachelor’s degree in real estate and his master’s degree in business administration from Florida State University.
Dan Sherfield
Sherfield is the chief operating officer for Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream. Active in his community, he has served as the chair of the Polis Institute Board of Directors and the Unlocking Children’s Potential of Central Florida Board of Directors. Sherfield earned his associate degree in psychology from Valencia College.
John Davis
Davis is vice president and athletics director at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Previously, he served as the Secretary of the Florida Lottery, vice president of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the external affairs director for the Florida Department of Children and Families. Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida State University.
Michael A. Sasso
Sasso is an attorney and managing partner of Sasso & Sasso, P.A. Active in his community, he is a member of the Public Employees Relations Commission and the Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Sasso earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his juris doctor from Barry University.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
