Valencia College has named Amy Parker Kleeman the college’s new assistant vice president of college transitions. In her new position, Kleeman will lead the college’s programs that help potential students prepare for and enroll in college.
Kleeman, who earned her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University, completed her master’s in business administration at Nova Southeastern University, and earned a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Central Florida. Since 2003, she has been the director of employer relations at the University of Central Florida, where she worked with the university’s career center and other student support programs.
Kleeman replaces Linda Downing, who has retired.
