Orlando, FL – Valencia College Theatre is proud to present “Transition,” an original docudrama about gender transition, April 6 through April 15.
Written and directed by Valencia’s theater department chair, John DiDonna, “Transition”’ explores the lives, concerns, obstacles, hopes and ongoing journey facing individuals and families going through or having already gone through a period of gender transition or questioning.
Featuring an ensemble cast from the transgender and cisgender communities, the play is based on interviews that DiDonna conducted with members of the transgender community.
Performances will be held in Valencia’s Black Box Theater, which is located in Building 3 on Valencia’s East Campus. The East Campus is at 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando.
