In celebration of Halloween, Valencia College will host a Symphonic and Jazz Band Halloween concert on Oct 27.
The concert is free and will be held at the outdoor mall area of East Campus, located at 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail.
This year’s installment of the Halloween concert will start with highlights from the musical “Wicked,” feature films “Star Trek” and “Wonder Woman.” The program will also bring the stylized themes of the movies, “The Sting” and the 1960 classic “The Magnificent Seven.”
Halloween costumes are encouraged, and guests will meet on the lawn of the mall area at 11:30 a.m.
The Jazz Band follows the Symphonic Band at 12:30 p.m., bringing snappy jazz standards and even some Stevie Wonder!
In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Performing Arts Center.
