Valencia College will hold its annual Spring Dance Concert on March 25 and 26, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. in Valencia’s East Campus Performing Arts Center.
The concert, which highlights the work of guest choreographers, features student dancers and guest artists who are alumni of the Associate in Arts Dance Performance Degree Major Pathway.
This year, the concert features “Suite from A Choreographic Offering,” a modern dance choreographed by José Limón and restaged by Daniel Lewis, plus “Murmur,” a modern piece created by returning guest choreographer Jon Lehrer, who has collaborated with Valencia Dance for 11 years. The concert with close with “Heartland,” a modern dance choreographed by Lesley Brasseux Rodgers. Valencia Dance’s artistic director.
The performances of “Suite from A Choreographic Offering” are part of the José Limón Dance Foundation’s 75th Anniversary Celebration.
Ticket prices are $12 for the general public and $10 for Valencia employees, students, alumni and senior citizens. Tickets are $6 for children ages 12 and under.
