Caitlin Boyle wasn’t looking for fame when she scribbled “You Are Beautiful” on a notepad, stuck it to the mirror of a campus ladies room, took a snapshot and blogged about it. She just wanted to forget her own problems for a moment and brighten someone else’s day.
That small gesture, though, has ignited worldwide attention and led the Valencia student to publish a book about her experience: “Operation Beautiful: Transforming the Way You See Yourself One Post-It Note at a Time.”
Boyle made Yahoo’s top “Inspiring Acts” list for 2010 for her positive Post-Its campaign. You can read about her story and post your own message here.
