Valencia College will commemorate the life and work of former art professor Jackie Otto Miller in a fall exhibition at the college’s East Campus. “Jackie Otto Miller: selected works” will run Oct. 25 through Dec. 7, serving as a retrospective of the late Valencia College professor’s art career. Otto Miller – who also served as director and curator of the college’s Anita S. Wooten Gallery – passed away in January 2018, and has been remembered as an inspiring force in the local arts community.
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Anita S. Wooten Gallery, which is located in Building 3 on Valencia’s East Campus, 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando.
Following the opening reception, the gallery will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
