On Tuesday WFTV Channel 9 visited the set of the latest feature film that combines professional filmmakers with Valencia’s film program students. Called “The Renee Project,” the film stars Kat Dennings of “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” Chad Michael Murray of “One Tree Hill” and Rupert Friend of “The Young Victoria.” View the Channel 9 story here.
Roger Moore of the Orlando Sentinel has been blogging extensively about the project, calling it the “most promising Major Motion Picture to be shot here since the Oscar winning “Monster,”” the 2003 story of Daytona Beach serial killer Aileen Wuornos that starred Charlize Theron.
