As part of the ongoing roadway construction and repaving of the West Campus perimeter road, construction crews will begin working on the northern section of the campus roadway and will close the northernmost Kirkman Drive entrance to the campus starting on June 6.

- Starting June 6, the north Kirkman Road entrance will be closed, but the south Kirkman Road entrances (beside Walmart) will be open and all parking lots
- The Lynx bus stop will return to its permanent location behind the Health Sciences Building, adjacent to Parking Lot A.
- During this portion of the project, those entering the campus via Resource Road will only be able to access Parking Lot G.
- Employees and visitors who are parking in other lots should use the south Kirkman Road entrances or the Metrocenter Boulevard entrance to campus.
The southern section of the perimeter road that is currently closed (from Kirkman Road to Parking Lot F) will reopen for use on June 6.
This phase should be complete in mid-July and the remaining portion of the roadway is expected to be complete in early August.
Because traffic could be slower than normal on campus, please plan for additional travel time.

West Campus Perimeter Road Construction (Phase 1)
Starting on May 6, construction crews will begin work on the West Campus perimeter road, updating the roadway with new asphalt, striping, light poles and redesigning traffic flow at some intersections.
The paving work will start on May 6 and will be completed before the start of fall classes.

- Starting May 6, three entrances to the campus will be closed: Both of the south entrances on Kirkman Road (closest to Walmart) and the Metrocenter Boulevard/traffic circle entrance will be closed. During this time, please use the northern entrance on Kirkman Road or the Resource Avenue entrance.
- During this portion of the project, the Lynx bus stop will temporarily be relocated to the old bus stop area in Lot E (near the cell phone tower).
After the south portion of roadway is complete, the college will close the north entrances and the northern section of the perimeter road, and the bus stop will return to its normal location.
Throughout the project, there will be access to all parking lots, although there may be detours and slower traffic flow in some areas. Please allow extra travel time to arrive to class or work on time.
