Dance students from Valencia and Rollins colleges will combine talents for their annual Spring Dance Concert on March 25 and 26 at 8 p.m. at Valencia’s East Campus Performing Arts Center. The colleges’ partnership, which began in the spring of 1991, is designed to highlight guest artists, faculty works and dance majors from both institutions.
This year’s concert will feature the contemporary “A Ritual Dynamic,” by guest artist Jon Lehrer of Buffalo-based dance company LehrerDance, a one-act ballet titled “Gaite Parisienne” by Valencia Artistic Director Lesley Brasseux Rodgers, and “Parting Dances,” a jazz piece by Rollins College Director of Dance W. Robert Sherry.
Ticket prices are $8 for general admission, $6 for seniors and area college students, and free for Valencia students with a college ID.
