Jeff Selingo, an editor at The Chronicle of Higher Education, spent more than a year researching the future of higher education in the United States in preparation for his latest book, “College Unbound: The Future of Higher Education and What it Means to Students.”
In an interview on a Washington, D.C. television station, Selingo says that Valencia College and its DirectConnect program with the University of Central Florida is the kind of innovative program that can save families money on a college education. DirectConnect to UCF guarantees that any Valencia student who earns his or her degree will be automatically admitted to UCF.
