On February 16, The Orlando Economic Partnership honored retired Valencia College president Sandy Shugart, along with retired Orange County Public Schools Superintendent Barbara Jenkins, with the James B. Greene Award during its annual dinner at Steinmetz Hall in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
The award recognizes individuals who have exhibited community leadership in which contributes to the Orlando region’s growth, quality of life and economic well-being.
