‘Pasitos a Valencia’ to Raise Funds for Hurricane-Displaced Students

To raise scholarship funds for students from Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and other Caribbean islands still affected by the 2017 hurricane season, Valencia College is again organizing a community-wide fundraising event, “Pasitos a Valencia.”

The event will take place at the Osceola Campus in Kissimmee on Nov. 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. Musical group Los Pleneros de la Central and Valencia’s salsa club, Latin Fire, will perform. Food trucks including Baby Taino’s and APPs will be selling food by the campus clock tower. All participating entertainers will be donating their time and talent to the fundraiser. Primary event sponsors include The Hebra Group and Osceola County government.

Admission is free. However, the Valencia Foundation is asking for a donation of $5. The Valencia College Osceola Campus is located at 1800 Denn John Lane in Kissimmee.
