Valencia College Remembers 9/11 With Art Exhibit

The gallery at Valencia College’s Osceola Campus will feature an exhibit remembering the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The exhibit will be available for viewing from Sept. 5 through Sept. 28.

Hosted by the Osceola Campus humanities department, the exhibit includes interpretive panels created by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City. The exhibit also features the local reaction by Valencia students and staff, documented by the humanities department at Valencia’s Osceola Campus, recounting how the events of Sept. 11, 2001, impacted the lives of people at our college and in our community.

The exhibit is housed in Building A and the Building 2 Atrium at the Osceola Campus. The exhibit is open to public and will be available for viewing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 4 p.m. and/or by appointment.

Admission to the gallery is free.
