The Valencia College dance department will present its annual Choreographers’ Showcase on Nov. 16 and 17 at 8 p.m.
The Choreographers’ Showcase has become a fall semester staple at Valencia and is now in its 20th year. Designed to feature student choreography, the showcase will be held in Valencia’s Performing Arts Center on the East Campus.
These performances provide students with a creative outlet to express their work through a variety of dance genres. Special effects used during this event will include some strobed lighting and haze.
General admission tickets cost $12. Tickets for seniors and Valencia faculty, staff or students are $10; tickets for children 12 & under are $6. Tickets can be purchased at the college’s Performing Arts Center box office at East Campus or the college’s online box office.
Valencia’s Performing Arts Center is located at East Campus, 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando.
